Some Fun Facts:

• Pete chose his pseudonym, Wetscrog Rex, in college when he co-founded a porn club in his fraternity with his frat brother Scott "Yogurt" Schwartz, who gave himself the club name Ramdog. When Pete first began writing for AVN, he used Wetscrog Rex as his pen name until he was brought on full-time as an editor. At that point, he began writing as Peter Warren at Ilana's suggestion ... and in following with porn legend Ron Jeremy's model of using his first and middle names for his professional moniker.

• Josh's speech in the movie about meat porn inspired Ashley Blue to create the "Meat Is Murder" scene in Girlvert 11, which went on to win the AVN Award for Most Outrageous Sex Scene.

• A rough cut of Jews at Sea played at the Backstreet Film Festival in Philadelphia, where it was booed furiously by a crowd that began filtering in about halfway through to see the movie showing immediately after it—which was the tent-pole movie of the festival, and whose screening got majorly delayed due to a scheduling foul-up. Pete slunk out of the theater as he was being called up to do a Q&A.

• The title Jews at Sea is partially an homage to Mel Brooks' faux trailer for Jews in Space that appears at the end of History of the World Part I.

• The scene where Pete appears at Josh's door wearing a fetish mask and bellows at him, "Remove your clothes!" is a reference to Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut.

• A whole subplot that ultimately got cut out of Jews at Sea involved Ilana competing in an ongoing series of elimination events over the course of the cruise.

• The only member of the Jews at Sea cast who isn't Jewish is Uncle Paul.

• Pete has shot a sequel to Jews at Sea concerning Josh and Ilana's respective weddings.
